The big melt and flooding

Well the innocent little creek behind our house has become a raging torrent as shown in the two brighter of these pictures. One was taken from the bridge that goes over the creek. The other from the bank in front of the old home that the ladies behind us live in.

Later in the day the river had risen to a point that they had to launch an inflatable rescue boat to get three people out of a house right along the road by the bridge. Those are the final three pictures.

Hope we can survive this new adventure without too many good people suffering damage to their property or lives.
